New
resource for business and economics researchers
DPIBE,
which stands for Deakin Papers on International Business Economics,
is an online academic journal for early career researchers
and advanced postgraduate students.
Housed at the Deakin Business School, DPIBE publishes short
academic articles on various aspects of applying the theories
of economics and political economy to real-world issues and
the international business environment.
The managing editor and founder of DPIBE is Dr Prateek Goorha.
The Editorial Advisory Board comprises Professor Pasquale
Sgro from the Deakin Business School, as well as lecturers
Dr Vijay Mohan and Dr Munirul Nabin.
“By serving as an outlet for educated opinion formed
through academic research, DPIBE will serve to engage students
of business economics everywhere in thinking about important
issues,” said Dr Goorha.
In doing so, DPIBE intends to assist in providing experience
and exposure for young scholars with an interest in publishing
academic articles.
DPIBE publishes two issues per year and began in 2008.
